A quick photo montage post to show the process behind fabricating Tom's custom seat arrangement on his 1986 BMW R80. The seat aims to combine aesthetic elements from a classic flat tracker as well as that of a bobber solo seat.
The upper seat pan, padding and upholstery are still to come, so stay tuned!
So an old BMW tank came in for repair and paint. Had some nasty holes in it that needed chopping and replacing. Got the guys next door to paint and then gave it an internal sealing. Came up 110%
Fabbed up and tail light mounted. No more welding to be done. Strengthened frame and now ready for paint.

So we finished the cb250 rat today. Still needs the shakedown and a few bolts still need tightening. But it's just about done. Let us know what ya think.
